This weekend marked another historic moment for Clones Town FC as our Senior Women’s Team played their first ever match, travelling to take on Newtown Celtic.

A massive step forward for the development of women’s football in the club 💪

We are incredibly proud to now have four female teams within the club, providing a clear pathway from U12 right through to Senior level — something that simply wouldn’t have been possible a few years ago.

The growth of female football across the region is fantastic to see, and we are proud to be part of that journey.

The squad now continues preparations ahead of the upcoming NEFL season.
